There are now 1.6 million freelancers in the UK and together they contribute over £82bn to the UK economy. The freelance community is one of the most flexible, agile and broadly skilled sectors of the UK job market. Highly skilled, highly mobile and highly diverse, the freelance community is growing and becoming increasingly accepted as a key contributor to the UK's economic recovery.
Through the eyes of different freelancers, businesses and industry experts, these films set out to explore the freelance community, to understand exactly what it is, what it does, and what it contributes to our businesses and our economy.
